It was the year 1958 when Al Lapin, tired of eating the "same" created a restaurant where his family and friends could enjoy a delicious meal. Thus was founded the first IHOP in Toluca Lake, California , in the United States becoming the favorite of many in a short time, and is that how to resist the original Buttermilk Pancakes that made us the International House of Pancakes (International House of Pancakes).

Every time we get to a new place, we confirm that smile is our best ingredient, as a result there are now 1,650 branches in 10 countries around the world: Mexico, United States, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Guatemala, The Emirates Philippines, Qatar, Bahrain and growing. The story is just beginning
It took 72 years for a comet approached the Earth the way McNaught did that year, was the 2007 and the couple came IHOP to Mexico , only that the comet was and we we began our history in the country. Since the first restaurant opened in Monterrey we are very pleased to welcome our guests and their families, make them feel at home, seeing them happy and enjoy them any time is always special. Then the boom of social networks was the novelty, were returning to "connect" with old friends but the truth is that there is not anything better than a coffee to catch up.
In 2010 we found that with a smile we can achieve our dreams, because while Mexico is pulled a 10 with the most beautiful woman in the universe, we we drew a 10 on branches, since then a dozen restaurants IHOP was successfully installed on the country. Fortunately not the world ended in 2012 and we closed our first five years with a presence in 7 cities of the republic.
They Vaya breakfast served in 2014! The incredible welcome our guests allowed us to open 7 branches, being the year we have opened more restaurants IHOP in the country. Between memes and football World Cup that year was the most talked about social media by Mexicans were heard shouting "It was not criminal."
Finally, in 2015, we released a new restaurant concept in Chihuahua begins the evolution of the brand under the premise that recalls the tradition of IHOP: "Sharing happiness since 1958"; and by the end of the year and there were 28 branches in Mexico City, Monterrey, Hermosillo, Merida, Guadalajara, Saltillo, Queretaro, Puebla, Morelia, Tijuana, Tampico, Leon and Metepec where happy to do so, we accompany our guests at the table everyday.

National Pancake Day.
To IHOP and our franchisees, it is a privilege to be part of the communities where we have established. With this privilege comes the responsibility to be actively involved in the community, helping to improve the lives of all those who conform. Thus he was born the National Pancake Day , which for one day our popular Buttermilk Pancakes serve to raise funds for local causes . All IHOP restaurants in Mexico are part of this tradition in the country, supports the Mexican Association of Aid to Children with Cancer (AMANC) and affiliated organizations . Next March 8, 2016 , we will make the smiles we share in IHOP reach beyond the table during our National Pancake Day. Wait for it!
